Farbridge is situated in the heart of West Sussex, and let me tell you, this place is pure countryside beauty! Rolling green hills, cute little villages like Lavant & East Dean, and loads of character make it a fantastic backdrop for your wedding adventures. And the nearby city of Chichester? It’s like a treasure chest full of cool things to explore.
From the inspiring Goodwood House, to visiting Chichester Cathedral for some incredible architecture. Not to mention the South Downs National park with lots of hiking trails and stunning views. If you’re thinking of getting married at Farbridge Barn, you’ll want to soak up everything in the surrounding areas too.
From our first chat with Tania & Darren, we knew this was going to be an epic day! They booked our Diamond Package with our longest film, and it’s a good job they did as the day had so many elements to it. They tied the knot at Arundel Cathedral which, to be quite honest, is probably the most jaw dropping place that I’ve ever filmed a wedding! The intricate architecture and serene vibes inside are something you’ve got to see to believe.
After that, they returned to Farbridge Barns where they had an awesome violinist playing throughout reception drinks, one of the best magicians in Hampshire entertaining the guests and plenty of drinks to go round.
We absolutely love filming weddings at Farbridge, which is why honoured to be their recommended videographers. The venue has a cosy room for getting ready in the morning as well as additional rooms for your friends and family. The wedding breakfast set up is one of our favourites, with a rustic vibe and plenty of space to invite everyone you want there (and those that you’re forced to invite!). The surrounding areas are incredibly picturesque, meaning you’ll get the absolute best couples photos and a beautiful backdrop for every shot.
If that wasn’t enough entertainment, Tania & Darren had also organised singing waiters as a surprise for their guests after the dinner which really got the party started. Singing waiters are our favourite way to create buzz at a wedding and if you really want your guests to party (and not fall for the ‘evening lull’, then this is the way to do it. This had to be one of the liveliest crowds I’ve ever seen and the singing waiters had people dancing on chairs in no time!
We finished off with a kind-of sunset and potentially my new favourite wedding band – honestly these guys had me dancing while I was filming.
“I don’t even know where to start! Thank you so much, genuinely.
I didn’t cry on the wedding day, but just sobbed watching this. It’s everything I wanted, emotional and beautiful and also funny. You’ve really captured the best moments of the day.
Thank you so much, it is literally perfect!”
