I'M CHRIS, AND TOGETHER WITH MY WIFE KATE, WE RUN SPICE WEDDING FILMS. WE LIVE TO TRAVEL, LOVE TO ENJOY THE FINER THINGS AND LONG TO ALWAYS DO OUR BEST!
We live in Hampshire in a townhouse with our 2 children (cats), Bucky & Steve. We've been together since we were teenagers and our relationship is the perfect mix of home comforts and new experiences.
We are hard workers and always push ourselves to do better, and that's why when we're not working, you'll find us on a beach in Thailand drinking cocktails, in a fancy hotel in Dubai pretending we know what the food menu items mean, or exploring Disney World (again) - we're definitely at our happiest on a plane!
When we're at home, we're usually using our unlimited cinema pass to watch anything that's currently on, snuggled on the sofa with a gin & tonic in hand and a cat on our laps, or finding the quirkiest weekend activity.
Everything we do, we document. Our walls are crammed with photos of our holidays, our phones are filled with videos of our best memories, and we always make time for capturing every memory. It's that drive to eternalise these memories that makes us so passionate about you and your most special moments.

I created Spice Wedding Films (formally Chris Spice Films) almost 10 years ago. It was born from a love of capturing my own memories on a camcorder when I was younger, and those raw memories are still at the heart of what I do.
The most interesting thing I've ever filmed was a millionaire's birthday party in a castle on the Italian island of Sardinia - my jaw was on the floor the entire time!
I'm a huge fan of dad jokes (does being a cat dad qualify me for that?) and I laugh at awkward moments.
My favourite places I've been are Thailand & Vegas. Thailand for it's incredible scenery and relaxed way of living; Vegas because the vibe is incredible, there's so many different types of people and there's infinite places to discover.
I could eat Mexican food every day and I'm a firm believer that everything can go in a wrap - don't judge me until you've eaten a curry wrap!

I'm the designated second shooter for our wedding couples and it's a job I absolutely love - I get to focus on all the natural, candid moments between guests so that when our couples watch our films back, they see lots of bits they missed on the day!
I think it's really important to have another set of eyes on our films, and that's why everything Chris edits is run by me to quality check, offer feedback and give it a female touch before it goes to our couples. I think this has always been a huge advantage of our partnership and what we do.
I also work at a university, where I'm a manager who looks after the day to day runnings of the maritime department.
I am absolutely film obsessed - I just have to look up the trivia of every film as well as the cast and crew. I can usually link 2 completely unrelated people through IMDB without looking.
I run an Instagram account for Stevie and Bucky where I can post photos and videos of them to my hearts content.
